You are talking to your French friend about how you get to work

• Say how you get there
• Say how long it takes
• Say what time you start work
• Ask your friend if he/she has a job

Your teacher will play the part of your friend and will speak first.

TO HELP YOU

a) Choose a form of transport you can pronounce well

b) Take care with the pronunciation of the French word for ‘minutes’.

c) Keep it simple. Don’t try to include minutes, half-hours, etc

d) Say in French ‘You work?’
