You are in a shop in France

• Buy something to drink
• Ask how much it costs
• Say you would like some bread
• Ask where the baker’s is.

Your teacher will play the part of your friend and will speak first.

TO HELP YOU

a) Think of something simple which you can pronounce

b) Say ‘how much is it?’ Don’t shorten it to ‘how much?’ as you will lose a mark

c) You might know one or two different words for ‘bread’. Which one can you pronounce best?

d) You need the name of the shop, not the person who works there
