You are talking to your French friend about your part-time job

• Say you have got a job
• Say you work in a big shop
• Say which two days you work
• Ask your friend if he/she works at the weekend

Your teacher will play the part of your friend and will speak first.

TO HELP YOU

a) Use the easiest word for ‘job’. What is it?

b) Don’t forget ‘big’ and don’t mention ‘magazine’ instead of ‘shop’.

c) Choose any two days. Which can you pronounce best? You will get one mark for each day.

d) Make a statement starting with tu and think about what word to use for ‘work’. What did you use in the first sentence?
