INTRODUCING YOURSELF

You are talking to a young French person at a disco in France.

  • Ask what his/her name is.
  • Give your nationality
  • Say why you are in France
  • Say you are going home on Saturday

Your teacher will play the part of the French person and will speak first.

TO HELP YOU

a)     Be careful with your pronunciation: it should not sound like ‘apple’!

b)    You can give any nationality

c)     A reason for being in France might be for a holiday or to work. What can you say best?

d)     One verb will translate ‘going home’. Remember – no word needed for ‘on’.
