IN A HOTEL

You are at a hotel in France.

  • Ask if they have a room
  • Say what kind of room you want
  • Say how long you want to stay
  • Ask how much it costs

Your teacher will play the part of the receptionist and will speak first.

TO HELP YOU

a)     What is the only word you can use for a room in a hotel?

b)    What kind of rooms  are there – big / little / double / single? Which can you pronounce?

c)     Don’t forget to say how many ‘nights’ you want to stay (not ‘days’ or ‘evenings’)

d)     Say ‘how much is it?’ Don’t shorten it to ‘how much?’ as you will lose a mark.
