Your French friend is staying with you in England

• Ask if he/she wants to go to town
• Say how you will get there
• Say at what time
• Ask what you want to buy

Your teacher will play the part of your friend and will speak first.

a) There are different ways of asking a question – which is the easiest?

b) You can use any form of transport. Again, use the easiest to pronounce

c) Pick a sensible, easy time. Be careful with the pronunciation of heures

d) As usual with these, say ‘I would like’ and pick an article which is simple to pronounce
